Oscules on upper surface; terminal on raised "bumps".
Texture very firm, tough, rubbery, difficult to tear.
Surface_Ornamentation conule-like bumps (tubercules) irregularly over surface, smooth, membranous, opaque.
Ectosomal_Skeleton membranous, very densly pigmented, collagenous; some detritic inclusions evident throughout subectosome, especially at base; mesohyl collagen slightly granular, distinct from choanosome.
Choanosomal_Skeleton fibres widely spaced fibres, dendritic, with pith, only occasionally branch; mesohyl quite dense, homogeneous, some detritus incorporated.
